A comparison of French online exam platforms

How this comparison is built

• Every cell about a competitor cites the vendor page on which the information was read, and the date it was read. Nothing is taken from a third-party comparison, a software directory or a press release.
• When a vendor does not publicly document a capability, the cell says "not publicly documented". This is not a "no": it is an absence of information, and the distinction changes a purchasing decision.
• Evalmee's capabilities are sourced the same way, on the public pages of this site — including when the honest answer is "not publicly documented", and including when it counts against us.
• Four cells in the Evalmee column carry no link. They state capabilities the vendor confirms and that our own product pages, written from a help centre that has fallen behind, describe badly or not at all. Pointing at them would be citing a page that says something else; the link will come back when those pages are up to date.
• Two symmetrical sections set out the situations in which Evalmee is the right choice and those in which it is not, and which platform to look at instead. Both are held to the same standard: a verifiable capability, what the six others do or do not document on the same date, and nothing else. A comparison that wins every row teaches nobody anything.
• The scope is deliberately French: these seven platforms are published in France and address French higher education. International players belong in a separate comparison, one we have in mind but have not dated — rather than in a column bolted on here without the same verification.

"Not publicly documented" means that the vendor's public pages, consulted on 14 August 2026, do not cover the subject. It does not mean the capability does not exist: it means it cannot be verified without going through a salesperson. A correction or an update from a vendor is welcome — write to us and the row will be changed.
