## The Evalmee product

Evalmee covers the full life of an assessment: writing the paper, delivering it to candidates, monitoring the session, grading the answers and analysing the results. Each stage works on its own or as part of the sequence, and all of them plug into the tools your institution already runs.

### What this section brings together

An assessment is not a product, it is a chain. The paper is written, then delivered, then sat, then graded, then read back across a whole cohort — and every link weakens the next one when it is badly held. The six pages below each describe one link: what it does, what it saves you from doing by hand again, and what it hands over to the following link. You can use just one of them; the value comes above all from no longer having to copy anything from one to the next.

The stages of an assessment

### Exam creation

An editor for writing papers and marking schemes, with question banks and imports from your existing files.

### Delivery and sharing

Scheduled sessions, e-mail invitations and a self-enrolment link: every candidate sits the exam at the right moment.

### Monitoring and proctoring

Live tracking, screenshots triggered by events and webcam recording, matched to what the exam actually has at stake.

### AI grading

Automatic marking of closed questions and assistance on written answers, always under the grader's control.

### Analytics and reporting

Results by exam, by question and by participant, exportable to Excel and PDF.

### Integrations

Connects to your LMS, directories and student records tools: Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, SSO and a public API.

It all starts with the paper. [Question banks](https://evalmee.com/en/assessment-glossary/#question-bank), exam templates and reusable marking schemes save you from starting from a blank page every session, and make papers comparable from one year to the next.

Then comes delivery: secure links, access codes, invitations and reminders. This is the stage where most time is lost to logistics, and the one that lends itself best to automation.

During the exam, the level of monitoring is set case by case, from plain mandatory full screen to [live video supervision](https://evalmee.com/en/assessment-glossary/#live-proctoring). The right setting is the one that matches what is genuinely at stake, no more and no less.

Grading follows: closed questions mark themselves, written answers are prepared by the AI and then validated by a grader. No mark is ever awarded automatically on a written answer.

That leaves the results, which are only worth anything once read back: pass rates by cohort, the questions that discriminate most, comparison from one session to the next, exports to your own dashboards.

Finally, none of this should live apart from your information system: [Moodle](https://evalmee.com/en/assessment-glossary/#moodle), [LTI](https://evalmee.com/en/assessment-glossary/#lti-1-3), SSO and an open API let enrolments come in and marks go back out without any re-keying.

The hosting, encryption and GDPR compliance questions that run through all six stages are dealt with separately, on our page devoted to security.
